Buffalo Engine 21 and Ladder 6 backing in

So now you can see how they back in. This is a drive-through station but the reserve Rescue 1 is usually stored in the back (to the left rear in this photo) as well as other miscellaneous equipment. One of the Rescue 1 crew is heard complimenting me on the drawings I did for the guys in the house.

I think so...not sure. I think they radio that they're "in service" so that may happen out on the road even.

I don't know about other cities, but here in Philadelphia when a company returns to quaters they transmit a message to radio that states the company is "off radio and in quaters". Hope this helps.
