@dodgerichard Go to a site called Recall Owl. They list recalls for all kinds of products, as well as recall stats. They have a list of the top 15 most recalled vehicles. Despite the Toyota recalls, there are NO Toyotas on that list, and only 2 foreign cars (both Honda). There are 4 Chrysler corporation vehicles on the list, and the DODGE RAM is 7th out of the 15 on the list.
@WKHalford I agree with you. It is a no-brainer that fewer Dodge trucks are in junkyards because they sell fewer vehicles. But it is no-brainers that don't see that.
@dodgerichard It wouldn't be smart if the top priority is to preserve native companies like Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler. United States government does not allow all the vehicles Toyota manufacture to be sold in the US. like the Toyota Hilux (diesel). Nevertheless, we all have our preferences and experiences.
@zarmari11 Working at an auto shop for years, I never saw an old Dodge truck without having a cracked dashboard, engine lights on, engine rattling etc. Before you talk out your ass look up the video from TopGear called Killing a Toyota. Being an ASE Certified Master Technician that worked with Toyota for 7 years, I know my source of information is accurate. Chrysler nearly went bankrupt a couple years ago, Toyota NEVER had that problem.
@WKHalford Ford won't EVER need a bail out because they own so many patents that other manufactures have to pay them to use them. Such and variable windshield wipers.
@WKHalford sure there was closers and chrysler doesn't sell as much as toyota BUT Toyota had one of the worst recalls. Cars and trucks since 2006-2007 were all recalled. That is bad business. Toyota does, overall, have good quality, but those designers really need to take a creative design class because those cars and trucks are dull and boring looking.
@steriods4champions That's a dumb thing to say. They DO make cars and trucks. If they LITERALLY can't make cars and trucks, then there wouldn't be a such thing as a Toyota.
@dodgerichard And you kind of proved my right by saying that Checy/GMC is found more often due to increased sales. So then you are actually admitting that lower sales is one reason that Dodge is less prevalant, even IF you weren't referring to Toyota in that statement.
