  • Every manufacturer has there fans but, when it comes to robotic milling (which is primarily what our customers do, nothing will touch a Kuka. Everything from the way they are mastered, the way the software in the control works with huge amounts of data (400+ Mb), to the way they move they are better for milling, there is no comparision. We have not just looked at but analyzed them all.

  • what type of tolerances can you keep when the arm is fully extended (or close to it)?

follow up questing- how bad are the crashes?

  • Depending on if the customer purchases the Extreme Accuracy option or not its is either .080 or .030 over the entire envelope which on this machine is nearly 50ft!

  • what programming language does it use and can you program it with a cam system

  • @torifan1976 Our robots can be programmed using a wide varaity of CAM systems. We prefer PowerMILL from Delcam for this task.

  • where is the 8th axis?

  • There is a rotary table on one end of the robot that cannot be seen in the video. It is used to machine things like statues.
