Obama pays visit to Jerusalem
JERUSALEM (AP) — Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama paid a predawn visit to the holiest place in Judaism on Thursday, bowing his head in prayer at the Western Wall.
Obama placed a small note inside a crevice in the ancient wall, a custom observed by many.

The wall is the last remnant the Jews have for the last temple that stood there a bit over 1,948 years ago.
It's a holy site- to all Jews and non-Jews alike.

1- if the wall is the last remnant why jews are still digging tens of tunnels beneath Al Aqsa Mosque(dome of the rock)
2- Why they don't go to the old mosques and churches in Jerusalem too? its also holy and some of them are couple of thousands yrs old!
