@ZoeHarcombe No one reads your book

@ZoeHarcombe Yes I have both the diet and recipe book. I like many of your ideas. However, your reply is irrelevant to my comment about food group separating/combining. I believe that combining good fats w/good carbs aids weight loss by stabilizing blood sugar. You say that instead the body will use the carbs and store the fats. That's what Montignac type diets advocate, and I find these meals make me very hungry. That's all!

Excuse me but I bought your book and it reminds me too much of the Montignac method, sprinkled with original research, I give you that. But my issues with the harcombe/Montignac/Somersizing diet (all three are extremely similar) are the following. One, do you not understand that eating fruit alone will dramatically spike your blood sugar levels? And two, eating fat-free, protein-free carb meals doesn't also raise your blood sugar? I agree about not condemning fats and eating good carbs

I've been told strawberries aren't good when You're on a diet.... why is that? ohh, I also wanna thank You for Your video on how to lose weight in 5 days, I can't afford to buy Your books but I've been following this diet n it's working great so far :) the first week I lost 6 pounds , now I'm doing night walks + diet n hopefuly I'll lose some more

Wow, you are right. I used to snack on fruit after dinner and feel really upset to my stomach. It made it hard to sleep, sometimes. Last night, though, after watching this video, I had my fruit right before my dinner and had a salad later instead of fruit, and I didn't get bloated. Thanks!
Your diet is way too similar to the Montignac/Suzanne Somers diet. Eating fruit alone, as well as fat-free, protein-free good carb-only meals raises my blood sugar tremendously. I am sorry you repeated the aforementioned diets because I have failed on those because of this kind of fat-free or fruit-on-its-own meals. I agree with not condemning fats and choosing good carbs. Their combination is both delicious and healthful.

Have you read any of my books?! The Harcombe Diet came about trying to understand why we can't stop eating when we want so much to be slim. It's about 3 conditions that I discovered cause insatiable food cravings; how we got them and the perfect diet to overcome them. Montignac was the original GI diet (I don't mention GI anywhere) and goes no where near the conditions that I feature & I've never heard of S Somers. Please get the facts before spouting off :-)

@ZoeHarcombe You mean it's easier for omnivores. Carnivores eat only meat

Hi Zoe, although I am doing well on my nutrition habit (which for all practice and intent is nearly identical to yours), I just looked around your website and I absolutely endorse the dietary information you provide.
Thanks for videos. I'll forward these to people I know.
Best.
