  • @MrsKevinsmith Martin has plans to go out and play Tull songs without Ian and Ian is fine with it, so why on earth should you have a problem with Ian playing his own songs? He wrote them! The act appearing here was not billed as Jethro Tull, but Ian Anderson. I don't see how this is a problem. Some people just like to bitch and moan, I guess.

  • a new official cd in spring 2012 with this song among others of course !

  • @malrubius :(! Indeed! :) over 40 years for me. Ian is milking the bank (US) for all it's worth.

  • Perhaps you need another God besides Ian. Perhaps one that isn't so hypocritical and/or a liar.

  • I was at this show which was dubbed the "Rubbing Elbows" tour. I was sitting very close to the guy who shot this video. They had a sofa off to the right side of the stage and some lucky guy got to sit on stage with them and watch them play. It would be like having Ian Anderson in your living room! It was awesome.

  • @MrsKevinsmith Since Ian wrote the music, I think he has the right to play it whenever and whereever he pleases. Don't be so friggin shallow.

  • People that are too old to rocknroll but too young to die play jazz.

unless you're IA, in which case you get to play with ravi shankar

  • As a Tull fan for the past 30 years, I have to say that this is Gahdawful. Is it possible that, perhaps, the vocal melodies are written on the flute, which is why they sound so contrived and pathetically forced? And you wise men don't know how it feels, indeed!

  • It will be known as Tull so that it will sell more cds.

  • I agree that musically as a player myself it falls flat and on boredom. It sounds like a warm up exercise or something you would fart around with, I mean it's an unfinished work at best one can hope.
