I just love this episode. Get ready for some hilarious 1940's drag. The girl in da picture became Leo Gorcey's wife (isn't she beautiful?) And the guy that runs them out of his store is Leo's dad! I want to memorize every line Mugs ever said 'cause they are hysterical. James Cagney (his idol) slapped him in the face for improvising. Hard. Fer realz. Check his perfect comedic timing when he talks to his mom. We find out Mugs' real name is...............ETHELBERT!

  • Like Stallone and hundred other actors it helps having a Jewish Mother in Hollywood. If their mothers were Gentiles we would of never heard of them.

  • thank you for posting this. enjoyed it so. did not realize the lady was gorcey's wife. was this his first wife? i read in an anthology that is first wife never accepted that he was half jewish. good to see his dad, david in this.
