Try playing it without sheet music. It will be easier. Think minor key arpeggio like forms. Off the top of my head, and without a keyboard in front of me it sounds like A minor. Guessing because A minor is the easiest minor key to play. Futz around with A minor for a while with your left hand, then Am,G,F,Am on right. Don't have perfect pitch, but that's what it sound like to me. This is a classic folk song improve/variation, a very good one, but still pretty simple stuff.
