Pal... as you don't know very profoundly our situation, then you take out of context some things... I'm not pretending to make Augusto Pinochet look like a saint, but I lived his period as a president, dictator or whatever you call it, and, I must insist, there are some things you don't know at all...
Don't let`em give you biased wiewpoints of the total truth... get more information...

You can't be saying that he deserved to be bombed because he might have been a future dictator. Listen if people really hated him and all the pinochates or whatever you call yourselves where the majority then you could have voted him out of office but in reality you guys were a minority so tough. I can not understand people giving excuses for the atrocities of such a criminal and his concentration camps.

chilean suprime court in 1972 and 1973 declared that Allende's goverment was acting out the constitution, in 1972 and 1973 chilean parlament declared the incostitucional acts of Allende, you can find than in google. Allende's goverment became ilegal because of his acts, that's why most part of chilean people supports pincohet, because he save us from a civil war and from the chaos and anarchy, and he sttoped a future marxist dictatorship.

Why don't overthrow all democratically elected gvts they have a potential to become like hitler.
-
Hitler's problem was supermiacy. Allende didn't have concentration camps; Pinochet did.
You have no proof what so ever that he was turning into a dictator. Stating that hitler was democratically elected doesn't help ur point at all
-
and wat happened with Hitler? he was also elected democratically, so that have nothing to do with a later dictatorship. Allende was elected but his goverment was becoming a marxis dictatorship.
-
What Marxist dictatorship when Allende was democratically elected

I thank god that he died a peacful death because he would have been martyrized if he'd died violently. I mean look at Saddam Hussein some people now view him as a martyr. But he died peacfully like the coward he is! great men die on the battle ground but liars and phonies die on their beds. Now the Chilean people will always be looking for justice and they will find it. Remember Allende's last speech.
nice video but most part of the chileans , thinks than Pinochet is a saviour, he save Chile from a civil war and from a marxist dictatorship.

see my comment for losboldos. You clearly have no grasp of history. Pinochet murdered thousands of Chileans, tortured many more, and sent tens of thousands into exile. On top of that, he trashed the Chilean economy and widened the gap between the rich and poor. My only regret is that he died a peaceful death, rather than suffering the tortures and pains he forced the Chilean people to endure, or at the very least being held accountable for his actions. He died a coward, murderer, and liar.
