  • - Penalties against possession of any drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself; and where they are, they should be changed! -

  • @TheDievil6 I wonder if black people should've followed that advice and stayed at the back of the bus. Some laws are unjust and don't merit punishment for breaking them.

  • @happypants2000 And you don't drink I am assuming?? Or are you a hypocrite aswell as judgmental?

  • Maybe the dumbass shouldn't have got caught with marijuana to begin with.

  • If you are a close-minded idiot then it's that simple

  • just don't use drugs! its pretty simple

  • @QPWimblik Hmm, I'm not sure if you were agreeing with me or disagreeing because the tone wasn't clear in my previous comment. In either case, it appears that we both agree that our government has grown out of control and needs to be less involved in our lives.

  • @paradigmentropy In this libertarian society of yours If I wanted to save money for my health every-time I eat something unhealthy or did something unhealthy then I could do all this Economically with my money by choice without any need for a big government actually it's better for me If my money was saved instead of spent all the time on government pork belly projects like keeping potheads in jail.

  • @CurtisIJM I'd take it a step further: Penalties for the possession of any drug should reflect the amount of harm that the act of possessing the drug causes society. Whether a person is in possession of cookies or marijuana makes no difference, the direct result of them possessing those things is the same: no harm is caused to other individuals. Moralizing based on hypotheticals, rhetoric, and anecdotes would have us criminalize cookie distribution as intent to cause diabetes.

  • @RKKILLER16 Hate to break it to you but your wrong, marijuana is illegal because of Willian Randolf Hertz, who owned multple printing presses and newspaper companies, since hemp was starting to take over the paper industry he started printing made up stories about "MARIJUANA" like reefer madness, once illegal he had no competition and got rich, its wasnt until Nixon's "war on drugs" campain that put marijuana as a.schedule 1 drug, yes the government grows it theyve been doing it in colleges 4eva

  • And it would decrease the sells of cigarettes since weed doesn't kill

  • You wanna know why is it really iligal? It's so freaking simple, the goverment traffics it(or grow it), lot easier for them since they can't do it without any of us noticing, how cheap do you think weed would be if they make it legal, the prices would hardly decrease and the goverment would loose a lot of money, might sound unfair but it's the truth(by the way I'm not a hippie or anything like that)
