  • Did they take the bus out just for you to ride on?

  • Lol no.....the video was recorded after the end of the ETS historical tour of the day when the bus was going back to Westwood garage.

  • @Medic83301 COLTS (County Of Lackawanna Transit System, Scranton PA) put at least 4 of these 1960 GM Fishbowls back into service in 1982-83 to add to their fleet of 31 1974 AM General buses.

  • @newflyer3000 Would you agree that these GM New Look/ Fishbowl buses would outlast any of these new buses of today? I know how to beat this recession, here in America. Create more jobs by RE-manufacturing theses GM Fishbowls. Make them Compliant with the ADA, as well as making them compliant with today's emissions standards. Or better yet, make them Fuel Cell or Hybrids. How COOL would that be?

  • Now THAT'S a bus!!

  • @97SCT I discovered this book about st.catharines transit. You likly Have read it as well. It's from Mark Dobell, the first forty years. I guess St.Catharines transit is going to be 50 next year. I did not know that carlisle square was such a problem. The book said that they build the insectors office and building on the wrong side of the plateform lol How did that happen?

  • @localherbverb789 well most of the St.Catharines fleet had dark green seats. some were bought from Calgary and still retained the old Calgary Transit two tone blue seats. and we also had fishbowls with air conditioning and the seats you see in todays buses were also two tone blue. those came from San Diego California and are all retired except one

  • I got one word for it..... SWEET !

  • those are not original seats.... they were red with grey on the top 6 inches
