I just have tested out VirtualBSD 9 and I think it's awesome! This one is different from the rest, because it is meant to be used with virtual machines only! The developers of VirtualBSD 9 want to encourage users to use BSD more, and so they want to have users to have BSD system up and running fast. How to do that best? Well, basically, they skip the idea of installing an operating system. Instead, they want users just add VirtualBSD 9 virtual hard disk onto existing virtual machine (or a brand new virtual machine). In my video, I'll show you how to do just that, and I'll also show you how to update ports tree collection (for installing Linux software onto BSD -- BSD isn't Linux) using portsnap, and add users and remove users on VirtualBSD 9.
