artfuture :: Maker Faire 2010 - Producing eTextile Show

Part 2 of the artfuture interview with Lynne Bruning features a discussion of how the eTextile show came about this year after 5 years of little or no scheduled events around fashion and technology at Maker Faire. eTextiles are fashion that features the inclusion of wearable electronics, alternative textiles and/or tech-based design and creation processes.

Electronic textile fashion show held at Maker Faire 2010 in San Mateo, California on May 22, 2010. Produced by Lynne Bruning and hosted by Amber S. Clisura, it featured designers Lynne Bruning, Erik Johnson, Shannon Henry, Grace Kim, Meredith Scheff, Kristin Neidinger, Matthew Garten, and Nwanua Elumeze (Aniomagic).
