@crunchnut21 West Virginia, USF, and Cininatti weren't good teams?
-
i live in syracuse and we went 7-5 this year with wins against Colgate, Akron, Maine, West Virgina, USF, Cincinatti and rugters. Penn state is seven and five playing good teams
-
lol northeastern and syracuse
I pick syracuse

We're getting there. This team is looking like it has some promise this year. G-Rob is gone, thats a relief. We beat Akron this year. Washington was tough and we cannot seem to travel well

How did the downfall of the Ivy League occur? teams like Princeton, Harvard and Yale used to be able to go toe to toe with anyone in the nation. (though like a century ago)

@crunchnut21 not this time we didnt lol

@ocusa,how many natn'l titles? Im not sayin U should be happy with losing or not want 2 win as much as possible. But U cant say Cuse is a traditional power house either & as 4 players,1 heisman in 69 & when was the last time a Cuse player was in the race? 9-3 seasons are not what top programs consider 2 be good years& just "finishing" in the top 25 every year isnt special.Cuse's football since 1889(110yrs!),1 title in 59,1 heisman 69, 4 conf titles & Mcnabb etc, all Im sayn is dont EXPECT winning

@TR3YBUCK Clueless. Syracuse was 11-0-1 in 87, 10-2 in 88, 10-2 in 91, and 10-2 in 92. Then from 95-98, they were going 9-3 every year. They beat Colorado in the 93 Fiesta Bowl. They beat Clemson 41-0 in the 95 Gator Bowl. McNabb, Freeney, Harrison, Bulluck, Darius, etc.....they had more than "1 or 2 good players". You don't have to go back 50 years to find good Syracuse football teams. From the late 80's to 2001, they were almost always in the top 25.

@jsd1996475 Yeah, Corso was clueless on that one. Pasqualoni did a good job for a long time, but his last few years were going downhill and recruiting was falling apart in that time. Not all his fault, because the University did a terrible job of investing in facilities and the program at the time, while the rest of the league was improving theirs. Changes needed to be made, but Robinson was obviously the wrong guy.

Lee Corso would take 16-20.........................
.............. Alright, that should explain Lee Corso to you right there.
An analyst is promoting a coach who had a downward spiral going and was a losing coach himself...... Who the fu€k does ESPN hire?
"They're not making major motion pictures about football at Rutgers or UConn."
Word.

I'm a penn state fan, but i will tell you wat, Syracuse is not waht it used to be. In my opinion from what I have seen from this video, Gross should have just stayed at USC and kept his west coast offense over there, i agree witrh the guy in the middle, it has not the same place mentality wise or culture wise.
