Each installment of Ben's Tours will take you on a visit to a special place. This time we visit another of Toronto's landmarks, and its only castle, Casa Loma. Oh, and the Barenaked Ladies didn't like my borrowing their song, so the clip now plays to Dax Johnson's "Thanks for Coming".

  • What a beautiful building, inside and outside. I was born and raised in TO, and have never been inside Casa Loma, only drove by it, once in a while. One day I will go inside and have a peek at this great landmark.

  • @cheeriosinabowl I hadn't been since I was a child on a school trip and it was certainly worth a visit as an adult

  • can you imagine how much it cost the guy who bought it?

  • @redskull256 Well it pretty much bankrupted Sir Henry Pellatt who built it. The City seized the property when he couldn't pay his property taxes!

  • do you hve to pay for the entrance?

  • @naignik Yes, it's just over $20 with the taxes, or you can get a museum combo pass that includes Casa Loma with a bunch of other area attractions like the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum and Hockey Hall of Fame...

  • I used to live there, but kept getting lost...so I decided it was a tad too big for just one person and a dog, so I decided to move...I never did find the kitchen, but I will say I got a really great workout walking up and down those stairs..and the amount of Windex it took to clean those window.. ;-) Kirk xx

  • Casa Loma is beautiful on the inside and out! I've been there a lot and I would go a lot more! Its one of those places that you can't get sick of :)

  • @redskull256 he didnt buy it he built it i went there during summer it is said his gHOST STILL lives there

  • It's been over 30 years since I was there last, there were no gardens to speak of then, just a lawn. The room I remember most was the Conservatory (your video really didn't do it justice) and the secret passages! I need to go back, Thanks for the reminder!

  • @hisbigness damn!
