There are 3 metal barrels - the first is completely filled up with gasoline, the second is filled up half and the third one was filled and emptied again. A guy is shooting with a pistol at the barrels... how many of the barrels will explode? which one(s)? why?
@cvillelli They may have switched the sound just for the viewers the same way they'll switch a bald eagle with a hawk, but not all guns produce a noticeable muzzle flash, and there's really no reason to not use a real gun.

Yea I've wondered, since this is the most common and universal form of creating huge explosions in movies, how probably is it in real life if you shoot a convieniently placed fuel barrel?

Is it just me, or does that gun sound completely fake? Plus, at :58, there's no muzzle flash. I'm calling shenanigans.

Actually there is a chance of the barrel exploding if the friction of the bullet passing through the barrel's metal container created a spark.

exactly why I stopped using tracer rounds at the gas station... too risky.

Still wouldnt matter. The only way that they would explode is with tracer rounds.

the thrid should explode becuase it has more gas vapors in it and the liquid itself doesn't fuel the flame. thats why you can't smoke NEAR a gas station cuase the gas fumes can be where the visible liquid can't go,(in the air)
