See climate change in action. Look at the melting glacier mouth of Morteratsch Glacier in the Swiss Alps. It is quite a hike from the point where the glacier was in 1980 to the point it ends at today !!!

Even if they had melted pre human history, it doesn't mean that it couldn't be happening now, and at an accelerated rate unseen even at any time after the ends of little ice ages. Were swinging to the heat side very fast it seems. The ancient perma frost in Alaska is in jepordy, 1.5 more degrees and it DIEs.
