  • This guy was absolute proof that all the public wants is good music. You got this dumpy small extremely bald guy who looked like an accountant, yet he would send teen girls absolutely crying. I remember it clear as day, I grew up in the `70`s and all the girls in my school were just beyond obsessed with this guy. Him and David Bowie, and it`s because of the music. The industry refuses to recognize that today. It`s all male or female models lip synching.

  • Don P. Carroll

I was there at Dodgers Stadium 10/25/1975 I sat in the press box with Elizabeth Montgomery, Henry Winkler, and Elton John's Grandmother. What a awesome show. One that I will remember for the rest of my life.

  • I was there for two shows. Holy shite! Never really wanted to see him again after that...

  • Brilliant song. I was at the concert too. I was the extremely handsome little kid eating an ice cream sandwich in the left field bleachers.

  • My friend Karen and I were at this concert.....up front...and soooo many great many memeories....WOW!

  • I was there too. 16 years old and being tossed into the air by people holding a blanket. I remember it vividlly! What a perfect day!

  • I was THERE!!!!! Seen him 8 more times since then, but this was the BEST concert of my whole entire life. Happy 64th Birthday, Elton!!!!!!

  • I was very lucky to be at that fantastic concert. It was my third Elton concert at the time (after seeing him at the Hollywood Bowl and The Forum), and I've lost count how many times I've seen him since. What great memories. That's what inspired me to become "Elton Frank". Check out my YouTube Channel! Elton was and always will be the greatest.

  • @Edhallick Could not agree more.

  • i was there for this concert 10/75, my first concert. THIS was OUR bealtemania moment! elton, dodger stadiium, at his absolute zenith/peak. i believe it was 5 or 6 SOLD OUT shows in a row at dodger stadium. fucking incredible the popularity of this guy. and as Edhallick wrote, this guy surely was not the best looking guy in the world, but he was cassidy/sherman/garrett/frampton rolled into one in terms of the girls in school liking him. elton at his peak was as big as the bealtes and elvis!

  • Nice one Edhallick, they are all puppets strutting around like hoares to sell records and stay on the popstar roundabout, by selling their souls.

  • @Edhallick Amen!!!
