Silent Night, Carol of the Bells, & What Child Is This?

12/24/07 - I asked my MySpace/LiveJournal/Planet friends to vote for their favorite Christmas carols so I could perform them on the violin on Christmas Eve. The top three were "Silent Night," "Carol of the Bells," and "What Child Is This?".

EDIT (12/2/08): Please stop asking me for sheet music! I don't have any! I played all of these themes entirely by ear. Nonetheless, thank you all for your kind words! :)

i play the cello and the violin im best at the cello i had to play "WHAT CHILD IS THIS" in a concert i was so freaking scared 0_0. I had to play the B line on cello went like this[E____ E_____ D___ D____ E____ E____ D_____ rest E____ E_____ D____ B____B_____ etc.] it was easy i hate being round a crowd

Yeah, I know what you mean. First big recital I had, I performed Corelli's "La Folia," a piece I knew forwards and backwards... but I was so nervous, halfway through the piece I entirely lost my place and had to skip right to the end. But over time, I learned to deal with my stage fright and focus all of my attention on giving a good performance. It just takes practice. :)

very beautiful.. A personal question though. Did you mastered using the fourth finger quite easily? My fourth finger stretches exactly like yours, and I find difficult to use the fourth finger.
