A Cafe Racer is not just any old bike with clip-on's and a big tank. Cafe Racers are British bikes, not these Jap pieces of shit! The whole scene was born in Britain, and it was more than just following particular trends, adding or taking bits off your bike, it was an entire way of life.
In fact, you could go as far as to say; what makes a Cafe Racer is a combination of both the right bike and the right rider. You need both elements to have a true Cafe Racer, not just an imitation, as above!

@clevername333 ".... but 30 bhp? Come on, is that enough?" Yes, it is.

everything is right with that SR.

How hard was it to jet the CR Carb?

@RumiandMie1961
FCR blows for jetting. I suggest a CR round slide and a dyno professional. a touch less power but a ton more reliability and enjoyment.

Yeah coool bike.... but 30 bhp? Come on, is that enough?> I am looking for a second bike. My current is a KTM duke 2, which is 625cc, and 55 bhp. I am just not sure I can appreciate something with such low hp... my first bike was a vtr250 and had 35hp............. 30 hp? is it enough?

@clevername333
Did I say 30 hp? It's ported and flowed, over bore by 3mm, hi comp piston, Megacycle full race cam, titanium valve retainers, carillo rod and CR flatslide pumper carb.
It's pushing 50 Hp - and at under 300lbs, it's a damn fun bike to ride. If it's not for you, get a CBR or YZF and you'll have all of the BHP you need. Ride safe.

cool bike and cool vid. how much did you have to pay for the custom parts?

I really didn't count. I think it's better that way. When my wife asks, I don't have to lie when I say I don't know. :-)
