I'm trying to use two colors to make large blocks and via you, learned how not to have holes between the colors. What I'm confused about is how to "carry the yarn not in use behind every 3rd or so stitch". Thus far I haven't found a video demonsrtating how to do that - just often instructed to do so.
Thanks for all your hard work. You are a marvelous teacher and your teaching pace and tone instill a "can do" feeling, and am much happier and (more productive!) knitter.

it's basically a fair isle technique. watch one of my fair isle videos to see how I do it. don't carry the yarn in back for more than 3 or 4 stitches or it will pull too tight.
