  • alguem pode me explicar por que tinha um retardado , com camera filmando em cima do carro do palleti ?!

todo mundo desesperado pra tirar o piloto e um atrapalhando !

  • If you read up on the cause of Paletti's death, you will understand that upon impact with Pironi's car his lung cavity had collapsed inwards, he was not breathing and was dying already. He did not suffer burns from the fire. There had to have been some involuntary contact that ignited the fire. I think it was one of the marshalls that stepped on a sheet of metal. Regarding the Marshalls, I think they did the best they could at the time. Not like today.

  • @SmeurkeDeKat Of course. I always get them confused. Thanks for the correction.

  • @lkaasikmae That was the Dutch GP at Zandvoort, not Zolder. :)

  • @veets211 In this one they did what hey could but I can't help thinking of Roger Williamson's crash at the Belgian GP where the marshals sent the only person with suitable fire retardant clothing away and wouldn't let him help his team mate. A dark day in F1 history.

  • The "journalist" who was near the accident between 0:15 and the end have no shame to do this? This is sad to see that... a scoop fight to be first in media. What a shame! And this accident is sad, it seems he don't see Pironi's car stopped in the circuit. RIP, Paletti.

  • one guy is filming right in front of the car... where is that footage now? People need to know!

  • There is an article in this month's (OCT 2010) F1 Magazine where Professor Sid Watkins states that as soon as he lifted Riccardo's visor he saw that his pupils were blown and he was clearly dead. That's him that jumps out of the passenger side of the medical car parked in front of Riccardo's race car. He is wearing a black helmet and white fire suit.

  • RIP...that dude remind me of ratzenberger...1st appearance ardy dead few minutes later...thks goodness F1 2day is safe although its getting more boring round by round...dang

  • Also, his other injuries pertaining to his legs were so bad that hope would have been non-existant anyway. A thin aluminium bulkhead between Paletti's feet and the metal gearbox of the car he speared at 100mph. The drivers were sitting SO far forwards that even a slight contact with the Armco resulted in broken ankles. Mark Surer was one who had several broken ankles during his brief F1 career

  • gente o Riccardo podia estar vivo mas naquela época a f1 não tinha tanto recurso e segurança.
