@NICojUanes AS a 50 year old plus player whom has gigged mostly in clubs & large outdoor / civic events, I think you are so right. I just leave it up to the player to play how they want to. I find that it's the finger only players whom think they have something that can only be done ONE WAY. Immature. As a 80 percent finger/20 percent pick player I'm all about " Do what you do, never stop learning and experimenting" Music is all about that- Discovery through learning and your own creativity.

ok enough with the pick talk. who cares how he plays.. there are more than one way to play bass GUITAR.. the bass is a guitar people like it or not its not a drum set or whatever else its a BASS GUITAR.. people slap, pluck, pick, tap, when u buy a bass it doesnt say "use 2 or 3 fingers to vibrate the string" its all SOUND..
thats what makes music music.. if all bassists played the same style it wouldnt be as interesting

They are actualy doing "Mr Big" by Free with a little bit of "Never in my Life" thrown in go good measure! Both are great songs by great bands! I've played both songs and are both so much fun to play!!
