Great Girl Group song from 1964, sounding like The Angels and produced and written by Feldman-Goldstein-Gottehrer who also produced the Angels among others, and were themselves also recorded as The Strangeloves.

  • I worked with these ladies for one show back in 1964-65. I guess their hit song must have been :"Lookin' for Boys," although I have no recollection of it. I must have played it, though, because I was in the backup band.I knew nothing about them and never heard about them again. As an aside, I also worked with the Angels!

  • @candysinger100 Right, 4 girls not 3, my mistake. You were part of the group!? Wow! I have to thank you because personally, I LOVED this song and played it to death Summer of 1964! Also, thank you for the informative comment you left, I appreciate it much!

  • @jaemel1 Hi! No, we were 4 girls, not 3, from Brooklyn, and we did a lot of touring as the Pin-Ups but never recorded another song as the pinups. However, Candy went on to record a CD of her own called, 'Gangster of Love' and wrote the tunes on the CD. She toured with Tiny Tim as one of the Tulips, Lead singer with Lewis Margo and the Lewis Explosion when they toured thru Florida, was Lead Singer in a Broadway Equity Show called 'le Bellybutton' and produces a Cable TV Show in Staten Island!!

  • I just tried to upload this song from the .45 and it got blocked. Glad you got it on.

  • @sdkjlx99 I have searched for more sings by them myself and I don't think they ever did anything else-at least, not under the "Pin Ups" name. Don't know their names either, sorry :~(

  • Oh ok thanks...Do you know the names of these girls that were in the group because I can't find other stuff they did.

  • @sdkjlx99 The Pin-Ups-3 girls from New York that Feldman-Goldstein-Gottehrer produced when they split from working with The Angels.
