Here's a video of Dragon Lasers' Hulk 150mW (puts out 200mW average!) being shone through their Transmission Beam Fan Diffraction Grating. To enhance the beam, I burned a few scented sticks to fill the room with smoke.

  • should i get a 150mW or 200mW hulk

  • Is this your first laser? It all depends on what you want the laser for, do you want to burn things? Or do you simply want to see the beam? Because if all you want to do is see the beam, then 50mW would easilly be enough for you. If however you really do want a really high powered laser, see my next post.

  • If it were me and I was looking at 200mW, I would personally spend the extra money and get the Hulk Ultra. This isn't because of the extra 50mW of power you get, but because it comes with a key lock system and LED indicator. These lasers are extremely powerful and shouldn't be left around unatended, yours and others safety should always be your absolute first priority.

  • Also make sure to buy the correct safety glasses for the colour laser you're buying, you REALLY do need them.

  • Lol thats cool

where can i get thoose glases or what it its

  • I purchased the diffraction grating from Dragon Lasers, although I believe the transmission glass is currently out of stock. They do however have reflective gratings in stock.

  • @VWLPT

do you think that a hulk 150mW could light matches and engrave rubber.

  • Yeah, the beams look thick because the room is full of smoke from scented sticks. On my power meter the laser measures a peak of 219mW and an average of 212mW.

  • wrong. its fog! DUA!

  • thats way too big to be a 150 mw, its easily a 500mw

    nice vid
