How far away was this shot from? Those rounds don't sound real, they sound like training rounds. Real rounds sound a lot more solid and deeper when fired. Those rounds sound like firecrackers.

They were trainers. But I don't think the video does the sound much justice, it was just from a small digital camera. We were in a command tower about 200 yards away though I would guess.

Fuckin' A man! A PLATOON of 4 M-1's could kill an threat COMPANY of 10 T-72's in 10 seconds or less. We trained regularly to do it...

They probably weren't T-90s, considering that only Russia has that tank model. If anything it was probably some old T-54/55, T-62, or maybe even a T-72.  But our troops have never faced a T-90 or even a T-80 in actual combat.

@Robloxsaltytaco1234 Actually people don't give the Abrams justice with it's fuel its operational range is furhter than the British challenger 2 and its Russian opponents and you are also right about tech the Abrams DFCC digital fire control computer is one of the best in the world with 3rd generation thermal sights for the gunner as well its accuracy only suffers because it uses a 120mm smoothbore gun not a rifled and the Rifled gun on the M1A1 is only 105mm so shoots about the same distance

@GregoryHJ2 Actually Russia only has about 200 T90s and India made an order for 310 T90 tanks in 1990s they probably have more now but there has been over 9,000 Abrams made just over 5,000 were shipped to allies or bought by private companies for testing. So even if the t90 is better than Abrams we could over run them. As well the T90 is essentially a T72 they were going to call it the T72BU but instead called it T90 with minor modifications and is currently inferior compared to NATO tanks.

Hand down in technology the M1 Abrams wins. I don't care about it's range, while it's refeuling, it's got the best infantry in the world protecting it.

@GregoryHJ2 Corrections: India possesses more T90s than Russia

The M1A1 abrams has been tested against the T80, in which test the abrams was far superior.

The M1A2SEP and M1A2 have been tested against the T90 and have come out superior.

The T90 did however beat a downgraded M1A1 (without the DU layers and reactive armor)

Russia still makes good tanks tho :)

@CapnJ1mmy o really? thats funny cause one of my ncos was hit by an efp and killed his driver and loader. just because they werent one the news doesnt mean there werent any deaths. but now we dont use them in 'stan. too steep for them to climb
