atwcrtcw, there are many of our age who care; they have joined SDP's young democrat, or WP. Many more are full of rage, but dare not stand out. They are planning to emigrate.

I know, because I still have lots of relatives in sg, and I do visit sg every half a year. Besides, truth on Sg are abundant on the internet.

Changes can also be made from the outside, where videos can be made without fear of isd. Also, emigration is like going on strike, forcing the employer back to the bargaining table.

The success of Sg canNOT be attributed to LKY, because back then, there is a whole team in PAP eg. Ong Pang Boon, Toh Chin Chye etc. Post 1990, when LKY runs a 1-man show in PAP with no one to moderate his extremism, sg is going down the drain. So, we must always rem: current PAP is not previous PAP.

Getting 6 times the salary of US president is hardly "a little" corruption. I think it is a lot, and the worst part is that it has been leegalised so that there is no way to get it back.

Interesting. This Lee dynasty seems all too promising. Well, i guess this is a give and take situation. Our strength in political stability is also the very weakness in a one party rule. While on one hand we cannot deny the success of Singapore can be attributed to them, on the other we see a little "legalised" corruption.
