This linear tracking system has the strength, ball bearings, and portability that any cinematographer needs to spice up their work with smooth tracking movements and dynamic motion. Horizontal, vertical, underslung, sideways, and even on wires... the Pegasus modular system has everything a filmmaker needs to enhance their work.

Part 1 of 3, this video provides an overview of the Pegasus kit for Proteus rails owners.

  • I don't get it. You have to take apart your rig mount to use the tracking system? Where is your lens adaptor, follow focus and matte box while your rolling on their support rails?

  • Using the Proteus rails in the Pegasus system is strictly optional. If you want to use a mattebox, FF, and adapter in conjunction with the Pegasus, check out the Pegasus Carbon System or the Pegasus Heavy Lifter... which are discussed in Parts 2 and 3 of this video series.

  • Thanks for the kind words :-) Stay tuned to our NAB2010 news in terms of the stabilizer question. You'll see something that no one would have guessed from Cinevate.

    Cheers,

    Dennis.

  • Will this work with other rods systems besides the one you guys make?
