Thanks. From €10k to €25k depending on what motor, controller and batteries you choose, plus what you pay for your donor car. Look up audia2ev on google groups most of my project is documented there.

What is your planned average range you have calculated?? Or did you already drove the full range out of that audi a2 ??

Anyway ... audi a2 is one of my favorite cars.. And i also like electric cars.

( but i dont see potention in electric cars for the next 20 years... maybe later )

I more like efficient engines with lightweight smart cars. It's nice done but still future talk...

It is around 100km, I have driven 120 but that is too far... when your batteries fade going up hill it is a bit of a difficult experience...

That's an amazing achievement! I've seen lot's of conversions. Being an aluminium car, with an AC motor and a reduction gearbox instead of an ICE gearbox I really like yours! It would be great to have available a 2 speed "clutch less" reduction drive available, it would make EV's even better!

Thanks for the comment. Probably a two speed drive would be lots of complication for little gain. On a sports car maybe, city car not really worthwhile I think.
