This song is a love song, and it is about wine, and the guys were drinking cheap Rosé from Tesco when they wrote this song, but not only that. The song is also about not being able to fit in, and about being left out and almost forgotten about. People often just think about red and white when it comes to wine, and Rosé is the odd one out, much like Dan was when he was growing up. Rosé has so many levels, and so many meanings, and that's why I love it so much. It's just perfect.

It hasn't really lost it's meaning even though it is about wine, he sings it in a way that comes across as though it could be a lover. It is not just another song about drinking or gettin' drunk it is still a love song. For him the love is for the wine, for you it could be the love of your life.
