Not the worst president. It was his economic advisor who saved the economy. Everything that happened was literally out of control. We can blame Carter all we want but its the problems carter highllighted in this speech that delegitimized his presidency.

Jimmy Carter is one of the worst Democratic Presidents in history! Unemployment was really high, gas & oil were an arm and a leg, and he refused to see the former USSR for what they were, a threat to the world at that time. I am a registered Democrat, a moderate one, but I can say with full confidence, THANK GOD FOR RONALD REAGAN.

Jimmy Carter had the one of the worst unemployment rates, gas was super expensive under his administration, and he refused to believe that the USSR was a dangerous nation under his administration. One of the worst Democratic Presidents in history! I am a registered Democrat, a very moderate one, but I can fully say with confidence, THANK GOD FOR REAGAN!

LiveWisely please don't use Jimmy Carter and Ron Paul in the same sentence unless you're trying to point out polar opposites. Carter was a big government, bumbling useless president with no cojones. He inspired no one and achieved nothing. He was a quiter and a loser. Ron Paul on the other hand is an inspirational, strong and honest guy who believes in small government, personal responsibility and absolutely refuses to give up on this country despite the socialist direction it's going.

Pretty much. Reagan, on the other hand, told everyone what they wanted to hear.
