2009 Jiko Shokai (JET ALT in Shimane, Japan) v2

This is a video I made to introduce myself to my junior high school and elementary students. Most if not all teachers are happy to let me show this in class, on a TV or a projector (with stereo speakers). Since students like watching almost any film, this kind of thing really makes English class fun. As the film is mostly in English, the students have a chance to try to understand real English (not the dry textbook dialogs) and to be motivated by the fact that they can understand media content! @karekora --- thanks, karekora! there is a quiz about the material in the film. it's a good listening test, and it can be modified to fit any age I've shown it to, from five year old to 15. Maybe I should post the quiz in case someone wants to make a similar quiz for their class.

Thanks! You don't need any fance school apparatus. You can show it on a PC or a TV or a projector. I have shown it on my laptop screen, even. Anything is better than nothing! :)

Thanks! I wonder if there are any vegetarian converts among the 700 or so students who have seen this. The smiling cow was definitely one of their favorite moments.
