@rbmalm Jerry Taylor was a total jackass.
1) He filed a complaint with the FBI against the developers of CentOS.
2) He claimed to have "I have 22 years in computer systems engineering and operation"
3) Even after he found out that CentOS was not to blame, he was still rude to the CentOS developers.

It's easy for our web savvy generation to expose older computer/web illiterate people to the masses, subjecting them to our tactless world of trolls whose only pleasure is belittling those who know less than they. Would the same thing have happened if the conversation took place in person? Have you ever called someone you were assisting with a 'dumb' computer question an idiot to their face?
