There is also a little sweetspot that the more skilled players favor, where you (at the top of the coaster) charge at an angle and get a shockwave charge on someone, making them take extreme fall damage and killing them outright. Right where he is at 0:11 is where you wanna do it on that rail as it slants down if you are good you will get it almost every time.

If you look ahead of you, there's a great spot. The second hill they have to climb on the rollercoaster, if you get them there most people don't know about the ladder to get back up and it separates them. There is also no roof so hunters / spitters can hit easily and smokers can pull people off because there are no railings.
You have the right idea though. Another good spot is coming from behind them on the big drop in the middle beacuse if you charge them, it counts as a jump.
