A short story of a lucky find. I was at Monument Hill boat launch and took the first photos..My co-worker was on the levee to the west. The small piece flew about 600' over the levee and into the soft red soil ..That's where the boat shuts down as the Prop shaft comes apart... Look close and you can still see the red dirt on the fractured end as the blade was in the dirt with the sharp side up. I exchanged many photos, emails and phone calls with Joseph Little regarded the smaller broken blade my co-worker found that March day of the run. Notice the shaft is engraved 3-10-04 and this run was on 3-13-04.. He provided me with facts and photos to authenticate the broken blade as I was getting ready to list it on ebay. It went to a collector back east.
