great video!
by far the best cover
-
arrange ur drums how u want it. dont set it up just because carter sets it up that way. i know ur doing this cause u look uncomfortable when playing the ride. but otherwise then that...U DID AN AMAZING JOB! keep it up!
-
Well done mate!! That was very accurate and that's what it's all about. Sound quality sucks. Nevertheless you can tell your really good. Not just another kid with a drumkit in their garage.
-
Wow! SOMEONE needs to go fuck themselves...............and it's NOT me!
-
wow your drum set up really looks like carters. ps wat type of ride is that? and do u know the hi-hat carter uses as well?
-
hell yeah! Good Stuff man! That was real tight.
-
i wish you had a nice mic system, cause that was pretty good, man.
-
carter is one of my favorite drummers and i can honestly say that if i listened to this without watching it i would think it was him. good job man. so many people don't get the feel for this song. but you really did capture the groove
-
you clearly are a carter beauford wannabe...but you back it up with your playing. great job!
Thanks a lot man

i lead with my left hand. I hit one stroke with the left then followed by two with the right and then back to one to the right. When ever you hear the group of triplets together its combined with two with the right hand.If thats not what you were asking then let me know

Excellent job man, the subtlety and feel of this song is the hardest thing to get and you got it. Technically on point, most people who try to cover this meat fist it and the nuance of the song is lost. What kind of kit are you playing? (I would presume Yamaha) Your hi-hat work and triplet accents were awesome. Top shelf! Best cover of this song I have seen on Youtube

thanks a lot, i love this song, believe me it didn't sound like this when i started playing it. Yes its a yamaha kit, maple custom absolute nouvea. I like how the maple sounds.

thanks dude, yea start very slow. If your practicing open handed playing for the first time just work on your left and right hand independance. Be able to just keep 1/4 notes with the left while doing everything else with the right. Then work on an easy song and play a straight 1/4 rock beat through the whole thing and see if you can get it. baby steps.
