You shouldn't say something racist because it's racist, not because it's politically incorrect. Political correctness should never be a reason to do or not to do something.

You say you think he's made a fine point, and then you spout something that he was speaking against. You have obviously missed the point. When have you ever heard of anyone going to jail for 'speaking out' against islamic extremists?

Fyi, it is not illegal, as far as I'm aware, to hold placards saying, and chant, 'death to those who insult Islam'.

It is a perfectly legal abuse of freedom of speech. How many people have you met that go around saying that paedophiles should be put to death? Are those people doing something illegal preaching that about those groups? Or are you okay with that because that's a group that you don't belong to, and a viewpoint you may agree with?

It may be abhorrent, but it's not illegal.

I think you'll find alot of the people who do call for the murder of specific people are put in jail. Moreover, most individuals who preach hatred and support terrorism, and who engage in seditious, prohibited behaviours, are tried and imprisoned if found guilty by a jury of peers.

Sameel, think before you type a load of balls in front of everyone. Paedophillia is A CRIME. Many (not me) want the charge increased from prison, to death. 'Insulting' islam (pointing out flaws in a barbaric medieval religion) is certainly not a crime - it's the only rational response after we see muslims killing women and kids, every day around the world, because of an imaginary friend. And don't lump me in with the right wingers, I abhor genuine xeonphobia & racism. But islam aint a race

Are you retarded? Seriously? I've just typed a load of balls in front of everyone?

The freedom of speech to request death or execution for an act is NOT conditional upon the act in question currently being illegal.

You're a cultural imperialist, and you fail to understand the democratic system, and basic principles like freedom of though. You're exactly the kind of person Stewart Lee is complaining about.

I'm the kind of person Lee is complaining about?? On another YT vid, lee has a routine where he is about to make an islamic joke, and then spends a while reassuring the audience that they won't get killed. The entire UK media output is now measured on the possibility of muslim violence. For speaking out, people can lose their jobs and require protection for the rest of their lives. That is certainly NOT, as you put it, 'freedom of speech'. Like everyone on your channel says - your talking balls

Do you think some acts have always been crimes? Can we not criminalise some acts, which were previously okay, thus making them crimes?

To some Muslims insulting their prophet is near the graveness of paedophilia, so they think it is something worthy of death or strong corporal punishment. They have EVERY RIGHT to hold that belief. What's more, they have every right to campaign and use the democratic system to make it clear that they believe those who insult Islam should be put to death.

Every person in the UK has the right to believe that an act that isn't a crime at the moment be criminalised, and that the punishment for this newly created crime, if enough people agree, be execution.

Every person has the right to say that people should be put to death for doing an offending act, and, by implication, that people should be put to death for doing it.

Welcome to the concepts of freedom of thought and speech, welcome to democracy. I hope you enjoy your stay.

"You're like those people that turn around and go 'you know who the most oppressed minority in Britain today are? White, middle class men'."
