  • Oh yea.....beautiful music. Can't wait for the Pacific Arts Festival in Honiara 2012.

Solomons did a magnificent performance in American Samoa during the 2008 Pacific Arts Festival........people still remember them very well.

    See ya in 2010........Manuia!

  • BEST!! IT CONFIRMS THAT THE THREE RACES IN THE PACIFIC ARE ALL IN THE SOLOMONS. GO TO HONIARA AND YOU'LL SEE FOR YOURSELF, THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PEOPLE AND ALL COLOURS ARE THERE. THIS GROUP IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE POLYNESIAN PEOPLE OF SOLOMON ISLANDS. THE SONG IS ALSO MY FAVOURITE..LOVE THE SONG!! IM PLANNING TO GO BACK TO THE SOLOMONS FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY.

  • I think thats one thing so unique about the Solomon Islands, one of the most diverse countries in the Pacific. The micronesians were taken into the Solomons during the colonial days when both Solomon Islands and Kiribati were British Protectorate. They now call Solomons their home. While the polynesians are originally from the islands they still inhabit today, likewise the melanesians who first settled in the bigger Islands. Such diversity makes the country colourful! 1 thing i like about d S/I.

  • Great song indeed!! just to clarify doubts about the origins of this dancers, they are from Tikopia, a Polynesian island in the far earstern Solomons, their province is called Temotu, a province comprised of both Melanesians and Polynesians. The Solomon Islands is one of the few countries that has the three races in the Pacific, approximately 95% or so are Melanesians, about 3% are polynesians, and about 1 % are micronesians. Lord Howe group, Renbel, Sikaiana, Tikopia are Polynesian Isands!

  • Amaing how these people, dance moves and language is almost similar to my very own..SAMOAN love this song...love the clip x
