  • Got the Hunger Games as well :D Already finished the first one. Loved it. Then I am looking foward to the Faults in our Stars. And I got some nice unfamous books that I am going to afterwards :)

  • @judyandthecat My sleuthing has informed me that you're German... MEIN ERSTE DEUTSCHE ABONNENT! Ich freue mich so sehr! Hallo und herzlich Willkommen! =D

  • But I think you would make a very good almost daily video blogger :)

I enjoyed The Hunger Games series and it is a quick read. & I'm excited for list week because I always enjoy a good list :)

  • @winged20 Well high5 me!

I hope I don't disappoint with my lists... oh, the pressure you've put upon me, Laura! *woe*

  • The Hunger Games trilogy is very good and is a very quick read. You could probably read them all in a week. I want to find another series of books to keep me occupied, but I don't think I could do George R.R. Martin. Maybe the Clockwork Angel thing... isn't that a thing? I looked it up... Cassandre Clare books.

  • @nerdgirlsforthewin They seemed like they would be, but I didn't want to make assumptions. I'm also a notoriously slow reader... =(

I've not heard of any Angels that were Clockwork... but that does not mean that it is not a thing...

  • @curiouscookie Ich bin stolz dein erster deutscher Abonnent zu sein :) Wie gehts?

  • @curiouscookie *high5*

Don't worry I believe in you!

  • GOT TWINS! I got the first 4! And we got my nephew the exact same nerf gun, so this is getting creepy. I'm not in the States but WE do Christmas pudding. We light brandy on fire and pour it over - is that your method? We also make "hard sauce." Lovely. I don't think it's a national thing, as most of us do what our immigrant families did back home.

  • @curiouscookie I have 23 book shelves. Four of them full of tabletop role-playing game books. I'm not even sure how the Dewey system would apply to those... You are welcome to come straighten mine out. I even have a free futon for you to use. :) Though I am on the East coast of the US...

  • @curiouscookie Yeah, totally! I feel like everyone in America will receive it a month before we do -_-

It's the same with Vidcon. Pure awesome is just soo far away :(

  • @booksandquills I know, and the font is so tiny >.<"

  • @GoodEveening I wish you the best of luck, my dear! Especially with Les Mis... I should probably finish The Hunchback of Notre Dame one of these days. Hugo just loves to describe absolutely EVERYTHING!

  • @irisxcarina We can read it together!

I'm so excited for The Fault in Our Stars, but it's going to take so long to get here! Why must we be so far away from everything?!

  • @tetsubo57 I'm very much looking forward to starting with Mr. Martin, even if all of his books are daunting!

I couldn't have orderless shelves. It must be the librarian in me. If I had a larger collection of books, I'd probably employ the Dewey Decimal system...

  • Ohhhh the Game of Thrones books. So many pages!

  • I missed your videos!

In 2012 I intend to finally finish ALL the books in my Unfinished Business video. Yup. Good luck to me.

  • I'm going to read the Hunger Games too (: Oh and of course The Fault in our Stars, when it arrives. Take care! <3

  • You just have to incorporate the daily vlogging into your day. Until it just becomes a reflex.

Xmas pudding proper is not a US tradition. Fruit cake is but I have never known anyone that actually eats it. My wife made a sugar-free apple pie. As I am diabetic.

I read some Martin, I think the Wild Cards series. An alternate history story involving superheroes and aliens. It was very good.

My shelves have no order. They are chaos personified.
