thats not true i am grobar fan , but this victory was not so much for red star belgrade this win represent a serbian win, and i was happy that a serbian team won the title, this was biggest achivement in serbian or then yugoslav soccer ever, this put serbia also on the map. we are not like spain or italy that we have top 10 teams that hate each other in international competion thats why this was huge succes

I do agree with you, I would support a rival club if it meant a great victory for my nation. However, wouldn't you rank the junior teams win in Chile as the greatest achievement in Yugoslavian football? Do you read Jonathan Wilson at all? He is a football writer for the Guardian. He has a great article on the Yugoslavian team that never was and calls them one of the greatest teams that ever could have played.
