TThe 31-story Ocean Tower condominium went down in an implosion around 9 a.m. Sunday, December 13th 2009. The city of South Padre Island, says it was the largest concrete building ever imploded. Ocean Tower is next to The Shores on the North-end of the Island referred to as UpTownSouthPadre
