  • This inspired me to make a veggie chili next february for my church's chili cook off. Everyone always brings bush's baked beans and premade chili and deer meat. I'm going to make a vegan one!

  • Great vid. The cameraman should be put against a dirty wall and shot tho... :-)

  • @wheresmylife Oops, that should say "slice them," not slick them.

  • The reason they got so much water out of the veggies is because they've been salted. The salt sweats the veggies and removes the water. If you don't like eggplant (the bitter taste they can have), slick them, put them in a bowl, salt them and give them 15 minutes to sweat. The bitter liquid comes out making them more palatable.

I appreciate these videos but I have to admit, I find Kevin incredibly annoying. That's okay, though. It's just a personality difference.

  • Where's the recipe?

  • @muzicluva000 There is hardly any fat or calories in the recipe up until this point anyway (still watching). You need to get some fat, and olive oil is very healthy. What's the big deal?

  • why in the world would you soak the tomatoes in olive oil? whats wrong with water? geez ur adding so many unneeded calories and fat

  • You are good, but the camera man needs to slow down, and let you cruise.

    But, I love you both.

    The old man

  • I made this last night, omg. It's so good!!! I can't believe the eggplant, lol. Thanks so much you guys:)

  • Hey, kids! Fun vid. Am going to make this Thanksgiving night for raw vegan "frito pie" for Friday football watching at my folks'. It involves chili on top of raw corn chips topped with raw vegan sour cream - probably of a cashew variety - and chopped onions. A Texas favorite turned "rawsome." Can't believe I just said that, actually. Cheers!
