This is my sister Karen and her husband George Heitman's amazing bicycle tour of the C & O Canal Towpath plus the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) that began May 16, 2010 in DC and ended in Pittsburgh, PA.
Trailside has a convenience store next door and a laundromat next to convenience store. There is a drug store across the street. I rode Mckeesport to DC round trip late April early May. Took 19 days 18 nights. I rode from north side to downtown Pittsburgh and took 56 bus. Soon trail will make it to Pittsburgh, any year now, maybe 11/11/11. I did some camping along those trails this year, 16 days. There is a new campsite at Livingston Station. Cross country cyclists should use the ADT trail.
Nice video, thanks
