This video shows a way to make your own toothpaste using stuff you probably already have in your kitchen.

Here's all it takes:
3 parts baking soda
1 part salt
1.5~2 parts Vegetable glycerin
Some kind of essential oil (This is just for taste, so pick something you like - cinnammon, tea tree, mint, etc...)
Maybe some water, depending on how you are going to store it.

Just mix it up, and store it.

  • Who cares where he shops , he is encouraging self-reliance.

  • Great idea! Awesome and all natural. The only problem I have with it is the essential oil. From here I can tell it's Aura Cacia; if you look on the back, the label says, "Not for internal use."

  • Grapefruit seed extract is a fantastic astringent for teeth. Might be good with this recipe. Will have to try it. THank you!!

  • @JeffreyDanielOwens

Go read The Game for the 18th time. lol. Maybe you missed the "gaydar" part.

  • @BeautifulSheeple then your breath stinks. even if it cleans. thats why the oils are good :)

  • are making a waffle mix ???? lol

  • Can u use vanilla extract?

  • are you gay

  • I just use baking soda.

  • why you using salt?

  • Search words like (Table Salt Poison) to see that table salt is unnatural and chemical, and causes health problems. And considering there is no shortage of sea salt, why use poison?

For a thick, smooth paste alternative, you can also cook water and Corn Starch in a pan, and use [less] Baking Soda which can be abrasive to teeth. Store larger quantities in fridge or even freezer until needed. :)

  • @Arrowwind09 xylitol may be a good antimicrobial, but it's banned in other countries because it's dangerous and cancer-causing. I wouldn't touch it.
