It is through a camera lens that the realities of the world we live come to life. The skill of a photographer is to capture the moment so that those images provoke an action and an awareness. In this short video report, the Italian photographer Riccardo Venturi, succeeds in doing this by portraying the challenges of ensuring patients with life-threatening TB benefit from treatment. Featuring music performed by the renowned cellist, Yo-Yo Ma, Venturi illustrates the stark contrasts of global TB control through images taken from a variety of countries and settings interspersed with facts on TB.
