Phillies Win the 2008 World Series Game 5 - the final OUT!

Brad Lidge punches out Eric Hinske to close the door on the rain-delayed game 5 World Series.

I can't describe what it was like with words...so experience the final out of the 2008 World Series with me! I've waited umm...all of my life for a championship in Philadelphia...OF ANY TYPE (other than youth athletics), and just so happened to have a ticket to GAME 5 of the World Series a.k.a. THE CLINCHER!!!

The Scene: 27 degrees...Fahrenheit. The second half of a game which had been rain-delayed for 2 days, and took 49 hours to complete.

People cried, hugged, kissed, gave high-fives...all to complete strangers. Some even named their unborn children after players on the 2008 Phillies.

P.S. You may hear the Philly come out of me...I apologize in advance..

P.P.S. The camera rope-thing was wrapped around my neck...if you get Blair Witch Syndrome, i'm not liable.

P.P.P.S The Mets SUCK! The Tampa Bay Rays are awesome for playing "doormat" for a week.
