A good movie, but not as good as "Karol: The Pope, The man." We don't learn why he was sick in this movie, although I admit the other one does tend to focus a bit too much on his Parkinson's disease towards the end. The other one also has Oscar Romero, but unlike this one, it also feature Mother Teresa.

Amazing. Karol Wojtyla came to Rome with only a suitcase with a few mementos and when he died that's all he had.

That was beautiful. Does anyone know where I could find the soundtrack?

Stunning, a real tearjerker. I have never told anybody except a brother this, but at the time Pope John Paul II died, almost entirely on the other side of the world, in the early morning my time, i woke up, calm, re-assured, and full of faith. I told the brother this, he said it may have been the spirit of Pope John Paul II himself moving over me, to this day, i don't understand why.
