Hitchcock is more sexually ambivalent than Hollywood. Women are often quite powerful in his films. Think back to "Blackmail". It is the woman who kills her attacker.

This is really great, I was super excited to find an MST3K reference in a thesis project. This is really solid and interesting, I wish I was more knowledgable about Hitchcock's films so I could better understand how the gaze can filter these films. Really great!
