people don't get it. white skin has been cherised since the beggining of times. Some countries just did not hold on to traditions, most countries did. Not that I agree with that. but aesthetically they think they are right. They don't mean you are not successful they mean to say that you are more femenine and attractive the fairer you are. reason is the fairer you are the more clearer your features and the more they stand out.
