If the biology is required to teach "alternate" viewpoints, with no further specificity, then he/she is free to teach multiple creation myths while ignoring the Biblical creation myth(s).

@tontsa911 It sure is, most of the founding fathers were deists. Religion is an accepted insanity in the United States. There are few people who have actually read the constitution. While the rest of them claim that the constitution was written with laws according the the Bible.

@MarcusEFN Isn't that extremely against USA's constitution? Most of the founding fathers were either agnostic or atheist. Even I as a foreigner know this.

@tontsa911 Religious stories such as Adam and Eve in the garden of Éden are taught as facts in some American schools. Religion is even accpeted in POLITICS! They won't let Atheists serve America because they are weak and useless without prayer and Faith. THAT'S what an American politician said durning a speech. A crowd of thousands of people cheered..

"MOST americans believe in ID"
What the fuck :( I did not know the situation is this bad over there...
What's wrong with your continent... I mean country? What is the reason behind this?
I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

I do believe in intelligent design, but that's all it is A BELIEF AND HAS NO PLACE IN THE SCHOOL! I also do not believe in it the same way it is tough. I just believe it is just to much for me to believe that the world came out of a bang. MY BELIEF is that there must have been so help. ONCE MORE THIS IS MY BELIEF AND SHOULD NEVER BE TAKEN AS A FACT!

The more goals and expectations are removed the more all complaining proceeds towards uselessness.

I never said you were refuting his statements, I was saying why does it matter that he has a C or not. You said you were offended that he spoke out all because he had a C. I didn't strike out on anything I was merely pointing out a pointless thing to complain about.
-
If you actually read my posts, I wasn't refuting his points. I actually said I agreed with him.
All I said is that young people need to be more concerned with actually listening to what others have to say before developing opinions on their own. Earning a "C" just proves how much one didn't listen. If someone is capable of taking part in an intellectual debate, they should first have a mastery of listening to others.
Only Gods and fools strike out on their own.

If state requirements tell her that she has to teach ID, then the school is doing an illegal act by placing church inside the schools, but I am sure you already know that. You presented yourself pretty good here, and ID is not science. I love the idiocy where Creationsits say Evolution is not a Science and ID is, because you know Science is all Magic and Spells.

I don't think the Grade matters here. He he seemed to take his position seriously. Just because one has a mediocre school grade does not mean his points are completely rejected, especially when his own Biology teacher starts saying "There is facts and evidence for intelligent design".
If you have a C in your HS biology class you really need to set your priorities.
I'm not saying this as an opponent on the other side (I'm not, I actually agree with you), but rather because I care about your person hood.
I really find it offensive that you would lecture anyone about education and the value of Reason, before you have taken those values seriously yourself.

@insidetrip101 It's not that I don't take them seriously, it's just that the little things like Biochemistry, which is what consisted of our entire first semester, really confuse me.
